It's All About the MAN
And it is too. The quickly named game, "MAN" is now Spencer favorite game. It started out at night, just as I was putting him to bed, but now MAN can be played anywhere and everywhere. How to play?
1. Adult closes their eyes and begin to act as if they were asleep. ( notes: a good snore followed by a blubbery exhale makes the game all that much more fun and if you the adult is at first unaware as to what game is being played, expect a very drawn out "MaaaaMaaaa wants to clooooosssseeee his eyes" ) ( he's working on the pronoun thing....)
2. Spencer will then hide around the corner in his room while you are allowed a few moments shut eye.
3. Giggling will insue, cuing you for his "surprise" arrival..so prepare.
4.Spencer will come running around the corner, laughing ( somtimes snorting) to which you "wake up" as if you were sleeping beneath Big Ben. ( ie "WHAAAAAT?", arms flailing)
5. You will then say "Maaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnn! I was just trying to get a few winks!"
Return to step one until :
One actually falls asleep.
~or~
One alerts Spencer that it is time to board the infamous long running "train to sleepy town" ( also known as "Sleepy Town Express" )
Yes that is the big game currently. We also got a chance to go to the ZOO recently. It was fun, but a lot of up-down up-down to see the animals properly. He liked things that were more on his level like the otters, and sea annomes(sp).
His favorite part I believe have been at the "Family Farm" where he got to pet a goat AND pretend like he was driving an old model John Deere.
that's all for now...naptime is almost over....
